About Us



C&R Fencing Ltd is a well-established, family-owned business based in Bristol. For more than four decades, we've supplied and installed high-quality fencing, gates, and access control systems for a diverse client base -- including schools, councils, construction contractors, commercial sites, and residential customers.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Contracts Manager to join our team. The role is based in Bristol, with regular site visits across the Southwest. This is a full-time position (minimum 39 hours per week).

About You



We're seeking a driven, organised, and proactive individual who can manage projects from initial enquiry and quotation through to completion. You will take ownership of each contract, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

You should be confident working independently, able to multitask, and have strong attention to detail. Relationship-building and clear communication are key to this role.

Essential Requirements



Relevant qualification (Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Estimating, etc.) Health & Safety training such as IOSH, SSSTS, SMSTS, CSCS, HNC/HND or Degree in a relevant field Minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry Full UK driving licence

Key Responsibilities



Prepare accurate, competitive quotations and seek best value from suppliers and subcontractors Complete tender pricing within required deadlines and to a professional standard Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors; organise and attend site meetings Produce and manage Health & Safety documentation relevant to each project Maintain clear, organised paperwork and cost breakdowns for all contracts Coordinate work programmes with the wider team Build and maintain strong working relationships to support repeat business Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with up-to-date safety regulations and industry best practice
