P & D Environmental Ltd are a specialist marine civil contracting Company, specialising in inland marine civils, dredging, lake and river restoration, bank stabilisation, rock armour, scour protection and Marina piling.

We strive to bring a high quality, professional resolution to the needs of our valued clients and instil confidence in all our water-based civil engineering services.

We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Manager/Estimator based at our office in Burton on Trent on a full time, permanent basis.

We are looking to engage someone with a positive attitude who is a team player with previous experience in mainstream civil engineering. Marine project experience would be desirable but not essential. This is a new role due to our expanding workload, we are looking for someone who can be proactive on the sales front, keeping abreast of new enquires as well as build and maintain good working relationships, follow up on all enquiries, carry out site visits and subsequently preparing quotes/estimates for the works required.

Reporting to the Contracts Director it attracts a competitive salary dependant on skills and experience, we work throughout the UK so a Company vehicle will be provided for the successful candidate.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience Required

Proficient on Microsoft Operating Systems

Estimating experience.

Marine project experience desirable.

Good communication skills.

Flexibility.

Confident, keen, self-motivated individual with a positive attitude.

Team player.

Full clean UK driving licence.
