Contracts Manager
Job Description
AC Electrical (North) Ltd are growing and are looking for another contracts manger to come in and work in our team.
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager who can run M & E, mainly Electrical but there will be liaising/monitoring mechanical as well.
The candidate needs to have all the relevant certification to carry out the role requested and must have the relevant experience.
You must have excellent project management and organisational skills and proven experience of ensuring a project is completed on time and within budget. You must be able to take ownership of all aspects relating to project management including dealing with problems head on and identifying them then resolving them. Understanding the financial aspects of a project is essential.
The works are NHS and also private sector, we have a lot of large projects that have already started and we are looking for key people to work with us in the future.
Salary Negotiable on Applicant.
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5pm but some weekend work may be necessary.
Key Skills / experience and certification:-
Must be able to work independent and also within a team.
Must have 18th edition Wiring Regulations.
2391 Test & Inspection certificates.
Must have excellent management and organisational skills.
Must be able to organise and manage electrical services projects within a commercial environment.
Developing and expanding on existing relationships with client base to help secure additional works, including quoting as required.
Ensuring works are completed in line with the Health and Safety Policy.
Managing engineers and sub-contractors.
Costing variations to projects
Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately communicated to relevant stakeholders and managed in-line with the company quality policy.
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project including Project Planning, Co-ordination & Execution, Project Commissioning & Handover
Regular internal reviews of projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 45,000.00-50,000.00 per year
