Works Delivery Manager (Contracts Manager) for reactive and planned works for Railway, Industrial and Port sector clients.
Works are predominantly electrical however will cover some building works.

Role Objectives:
Manage and lead the successful operational delivery of works completed from enquiry though to invoice in your respective company division to meet the clients requirements.
Self-motivated and work well under pressure, where communication and time management skills are paramount.
Proactively undertake activities to enable the smooth and efficient delivery of works onsite with a focus on adding value to drive the completion of projects.
Drive efficiencies throughout the business and contribute to achieving 1% marginal gains on a daily basis.
Lead comprehensive client communication in all formats to ensure they are informed and in control, but not troubled.
Prepare and share safety related documentation, ensure this is understood by operatives, with records maintained to support internal and external compliance audits across Health, Safety, Quality and Environment.
Demonstrate continual commitment to achieving a quality service delivery in a timely manner and take ownership of challenges which may arise whilst remaining commercially aware in the best interests of the company and customer.
Identify business opportunities to increase work scope and volume with new and existing customers.
Role Responsibilities
Undertake and own tasks required to facilitate the day to day operations of the business.
Develop and maintain customer relationships.
Operationally input into quotations, tenders and procurement activities.
Review work information provided from engineers or from site visits and transpire that into a deliverable solution including materials, tools, equipment and resource requirements.
Identify and understand customer policies and procedures to ensure the smooth delivery of our services
Communicate with customers, suppliers and subcontractors to facilitate the delivery of the project.
Manage and contribute to the delivery of both onsite and offsite contract deliverables to lead the project to completion.
Drive the project to meet the clients requirements in line with the specification provided to facilitate project handover and timely recompense.
Review project specifications and designs to ensure compliance and add value where possible.
Ensure engineers utilise safety equipment and PPE equipment appropriate for the task in hand.
Ensure operatives working onsite are trained and competent to complete the task in hand and working safely.
Undertake reviews and appraisals.
Undertake quality and efficiency reviews of engineers activities both desktop and onsite.
Record and report any accidents/incidents or near misses and identify opportunities for safe working practices.
Report operational non compliances and unsafe work activities and stop work where required.
Highlight good working practices and contribute to the delivery of the company meetings and briefings.
Identify opportunities for training requirements.
Understand and disseminate company policies and procedures for compliance to the company, subcontractors, clients and visitors including gathering the appropriate supporting evidence.
Provide clients with appropriate company information relating to the work activities being performed.
Procure materials, supplies and equipment required for the business whilst striving for best value.
Operate with honesty and integrity for the best interest of the company in line with the Directors requirements.

Trade Skill Qualified (Preferably L3 Electrical Installations)
Construction Industry Experience

Valid UK Driving Licence
