Overview of Company and Role
Jobber Projects has its own inhouse fabrication facility which consistently manufactures a large volume of worktops per week. Most of our projects consist of new build development flats and houses contracted with some of the UK's largest residential developers and main contractors. Jobber also has a domestic division where more bespoke worktops are installed. Within the role the primary focus will be managing and overseeing the full aspects of the installation of kitchen worktops and vanity units to make sure the timings and quality demand is met.
Scope of Responsibilities
1. Kitchen Worktop Installations Management
Coordinate daily and weekly programmes and installation schedules with clientele, templators, Jobber factory and installation teams.
Issue regular reports to clients highlighting make-ready needs and blockers, while pushing production forward where possible.
Efficiently organise templators and installation teams to maximise efficiencies.
Manage project progress and resolve on-site issues as they arise.
Act as point of contact for fitting teams, clients, and internal staff.
Monitor quality and ensure workmanship aligns with company standards.
Compile and issue site instructions for additional works
Produce and submit daywork sheets to clients for variation works.
Formally record events and changes via email.
2. Communication & Coordination
Provide regular updates to management on project timelines and any issues.
Work closely with directors and office staff to maintain project flow.
Help coordinate resources and manage subcontractor activities on site.
3. Quality, Compliance & Professionalism
Ensure all works are completed to a high standard.
Ensure installed works are formally signed off from clientele
Promote and uphold health and safety practices on all sites.
Represent Jobber Projects Ltd with professionalism and integrity.
Suggest improvement strategies to support continued development and growth.
4. Tiling Projects (As Needed)
Step in to support or manage tiling contract managers role during busy periods or when worktop division is quiet and or directed by Directors.
Terms
Working Hours: 7.30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Evening or Weekend Work: Potentially
