Contracts Manager
Location: Exeter, Devon
Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Salary: 65,000 - 75,000 + Car Package + Benefits
Are you an experienced Contracts or Project Manager looking to take the lead on diverse construction projects across the South West?
We're working with an award-winning, independent regional contractor seeking a dynamic Contracts Manager to oversee schemes up to 15M. With a strong reputation and a varied project portfolio-including new builds, refurbishments, and major works-this is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated and well-respected team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Senior Management Team on key project developments and issues.
• Lead and resource site-based teams, ensuring full compliance with health & safety regulations and deliver training where required.
• Oversee financial performance and productivity across all sites.
• Direct and supervise subcontractors and workforce to ensure timely, high-quality, and on-budget project delivery.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Contracts or Project Manager delivering projects up to 10M.
• SMSTS, First Aid at Work & CSCS required.
• NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management (preferred).
• Strong leadership skills with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
• Willingness to travel within a one-hour radius of the Exeter office.
