Contracts Manager

to join our team in Exeter and Taunton. Key Responsibilities



As a

Contracts Manager

, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of cleaning services for commercial clients. Your main duties will include:

Managing Contracts:

Oversee multiple cleaning contracts, ensuring service standards are met, clients are satisfied, and contracts are running efficiently.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for any queries, issues, or changes to services.

Operational Oversight:

Ensure cleaning teams are well-equipped and fully trained, working to contracted terms and adhering to health & safety regulations.

Financial Management:

Control and monitor cost efficiency for each contract, ensuring resource optimisation and process improvement, while proactively pursuing opportunities for revenue growth and upsell.

Team Leadership:

Lead, motivate, and manage cleaning staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.

Reporting & Compliance:

Regularly report on contract performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and industry regulations.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all cleaning services meet Betterclean's high standards of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.

Health and Safety:

Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of safety, complying with Betterclean's health and safety policies and legal requirements.

Skills & Experience



Experience:

At least 3 years' experience in contract management, ideally within the commercial cleaning or facilities management industry.

Leadership:

Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Problem-Solving:

Strong decision-making skills and the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.

Commercial Acumen:

Experience in managing costs for budget efficiency and contract profitability, as well as revenue growth generation.

Customer Service:

Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships and providing exceptional service.

Time Management:

Strong time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and manage priorities effectively.

Software Knowledge:

Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting, scheduling, and client communications.

Health & Safety:

Good understanding of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.

Working Hours



Flexible Working:

This role requires flexibility, as the working hours will include both daytime and evening work, depending on client needs and project timelines.

What We Offer



Competitive Salary:

35,000 - 40,000 per year, depending on experience.
