We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong multi-trade background to join our dynamic and growing team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple contracts across a range of construction and maintenance disciplines, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee multiple contracts from inception to completion across various trade disciplines (joinery, plumbing, electrical, roofing, etc.)
Lead project teams, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and progress updates.
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractor management.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality standards.
Identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
About You
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction, maintenance, or facilities sector.
Strong multi-trade knowledge and understanding of building services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong financial acumen and contract administration experience.
A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications
SMSTS / SSSTS
CSCS card
NVQ or Degree in Construction Management or related discipline
Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH, NEBOSH, etc.)
