The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-established regional contractor delivering general works projects across Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties. Working on schemes typically up to 2m, you'll oversee multiple projects at different stages, ensuring quality, programme and commercial performance are delivered to the highest standard.



This role is perfect for a hands-on operator who enjoys variety, autonomy and the chance to shape delivery across several fast-moving projects.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for:


Managing multiple projects across general works (new build, refurb, fit-out). Leading teams from pre-construction through to handover. Overseeing site performance, programme, quality and H&S compliance. Working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams. Managing supply chain partners and subcontractors. Supporting estimating, planning and procurement where required. Conducting site visits, progress meetings and project reporting.

About You

Previous experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager. Background in general works, refurbishments, small works or fast-track construction. Able to manage 3-4 projects at different stages. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of programme management. A steady career history with longevity in previous roles. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Full UK driving licence.
