Join our experienced and established team at the forefront of delivering high-quality, sustainable timberframe homes. With over 40 years of success behind us, we're expanding--and looking for a Contracts Manager to take full ownership of assigned live projects, from inception to aftercare.
About the Role
As a
Contracts Manager
, you will oversee the delivery of timberframe on new build housing projects, working closely with internal teams across design, production, and site management. This is a hands-on project management role with a strong emphasis on health & safety, quality, and contractual compliance.
You will:
Manage and deliver live housing projects for a variety of clients.
Produce and oversee build programmes and essential HSE documentation (RAMS).
Ensure efficient and safe delivery of offsite-manufactured timber frame components.
Maintain regular communication with site teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Attend internal and external project meetings to resolve issues and maintain timelines.
Provide clear and regular reporting to stakeholders and senior management.
Build a strong culture of collaboration and accountability across teams and subcontractors.
Oversee contracts from order placement through to post-installation aftercare.
Who We're Looking For
You're an experienced project or contracts manager, ideally with a background in construction, manufacturing, or production. You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and are ready to take full control of your projects while mentoring and collaborating with team members at all levels.
Essential Requirements
Strong project management experience with proven team leadership skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, able to produce clear, effective management reports.
Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
UK Driving Licence (travel to sites required occasionally).
Desirable (but not essential)
CSCS and SMSTS certifications.
Previous experience with modern methods of construction or offsite manufacturing.
Experience managing residential developments for developers or main contractors.
