WSW Refurbishments are now recruiting for an established Contacts

Manager to strengthen the existing team to oversee 1-5 projects at a time

value and location dependant.

WSW refurbishments undertake projects in a typical project value range

from 20K - 1.6m in all the major sectors, including Commercial,

Educational, Industrial and Residential.

This is an office-based role with site visits as and when required in line with

workflow.

ABOUT YOU

? Be well-presented and distinguishable as the primary point of

contact for the project.

? Possess a strong commitment to the business and its personal

approach to contracting.

? Have experience of leading a site team in the delivery of quality

projects in required timeframes.

? Be highly practical, articulate and competent in the use of I.T. for

planning and producing reports and valuations

? Be used to interacting with and motivating a site team, including on

occasions using directly employed craftsmen and operatives.

? Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients

and supply-chain alike and be able to develop and maintain good

relationships with both.

? Be highly self-motivated and have a positive can-do approach to

drive the project to successful completion.

? Be able to assist in leading our delivery team and report to Directors

on key project issues.

? Set the plan for successful, safe and economical delivery of the

works.

? Assist with winning work by helping our pre-contract department

with current tender bids where required

? Have a good work ethic and permeate this throughout our delivery

teams.

? Technical qualifications - Preferred but not essential for the right

candidate but proven previous experience is essential. Ideally -

SSMTS and/ or Contracts Management/ Projects Management

qualifications.

? Technical Competence

? Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and

contract documents.

? Experience in preparing and reviewing risk assessments and

method statements (RAMS). Knowledge of Construction Phase

Plans & O&Ms.

? Familiarity with JCT contracts and other standard forms of

contract.

? Competent in project programming and sequencing of works.

? Strong commercial awareness, including cost control and

valuations.
