Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, private clients, and contractors to generate repeat business.
Prepare competitive tenders and quotations, ensuring accurate costings for materials, labour, and plant.
Negotiate terms and conditions with clients and suppliers.
Contract & Project Management
Administer contracts (NEC, JCT, ICE, or bespoke) ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.
Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring effective planning, resource allocation, and supervision.
Monitor progress, variations, and claims, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Manage subcontractors, ensuring performance, quality, and health & safety compliance.
Commercial & Financial Control
Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and project cost forecasts.
Ensure profitability through cost control and value engineering.
Approve invoices and manage procurement schedules for materials and plant.
Health, Safety, and Quality
Promote a strong health and safety culture on all sites.
Ensure all works comply with quality standards and client specifications.
Conduct risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
