New Earth Construction Ltd is a growing contractor delivering residential and small commercial projects across the Isle of Man.
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to take operational responsibility for 4-6 live projects simultaneously. This is a hands-on, multi-site role focused on programme control, coordination, and delivery -- not a single-site supervisory position.
This role is ideal for an experienced Site Manager or Contracts Manager looking to step into a broader operational position with real influence, autonomy, and a clear progression path as the business scales.

This is a foundational appointment within the business.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director and Commercial Director to:
Take ownership of day-to-day operational delivery
Help develop and embed systems, procedures, and best practice
Grow into a senior operational role as the company expands
Key Responsibilities
Operational control of 4-6 concurrent residential and small commercial projects
Programme planning, sequencing, and progress monitoring across sites
Coordination of labour, subcontractors, and site resources
Regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and H&S compliance
Oversight of material procurement, logistics, and site readiness
Managing quality control, snagging, and project handovers
Acting as a key link between site teams, management, and clients
Providing clear weekly reporting on progress, risks, and performance
About You
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Site Manager, or similar multi-site role
Demonstrable experience managing multiple live projects simultaneously
Strong background in residential construction and refurbishment works
Organised, decisive, and comfortable taking ownership
Confident coordinating subcontractors and direct labour
Able to read and interpret drawings and identify issues early
Full UK driving licence
Strongly Preferred / Ideal Candidate Profile
10+ years' experience delivering and overseeing multiple construction sites concurrently
Working knowledge and practical experience of JCT and NEC forms of contract
(formal qualifications or training desirable)
Competent using Microsoft Project or alternative programming / scheduling software
Experience contributing to or improving operational systems and site procedures
Comfortable working at a senior level with company directors

55,000 - 65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
