Vacancy for an experienced Contracts Manager on a Tier 1 in North Lincolnshire.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contract Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the creation, negotiation, and management of contracts with clients and suppliers. The role will consist of managing teams of skilled operatives carrying out a range of industrial maintenance activities along with tracking of commercial documentation and working to budgets. Additionally, this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. The Contract Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies while fostering positive relationships with partners.
Responsibilities
:
Maintaining strong communications and productive relationships with the client.
Generating and following a Project Management Plan, including all site procedures and practices and completing records and documentation.
Surveying new work scopes and collating information.
Producing RAMS, daily logs, weekly reports, timesheets etc.
Managing direct and subcontract labour, overseeing the time and attendance and compliance of team members on site.
Attending daily meetings with senior management to provide project updates.
Submitting requests for equipment, consumables, PPE, and manpower to facilitate smooth on-site operations.
A relevant Health & Safety qualification and be competent to carry out management tasks they are directed to complete.
Developing commercial documentation and tracking of spends across the works. Working to budgets provided and maximising profits.
Confident in the use of IT packages and systems.
Valid UK driver's licence.
Recognising potential new work scopes/business opportunities and the assistance in the development of these projects.
Skills:
Proven experience as a Contract Manager or in a similar role within a relevant industry.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
Proficient in using contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information.

Experience:
Somebody with 2 years' minimum experience managing tradesmen in a heavy process/industrial setting is essential for this role, preferably in a fast-paced reactive maintenance environment. (Rope Access not essential)
