Job Summary:



We are seeking a highly organized and experienced

Contracts Manager

to oversee and manage facade construction projects across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facade systems, excellent contract administration skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from pre-contract through to final account. You will be responsible for ensuring that all contractual, commercial and operational aspects of each project are executed to the highest standards, within time and budget constraints. Key Responsibilities:



Contract Management:

Review, negotiate, and manage sub-contracts, supplier agreements, and client contracts.

Project Oversight:

Coordinate facade construction activities across multiple sites to ensure quality, compliance, and delivery targets are met.

Stakeholder Liaison:

Act as the key point of contact between clients, consultants, suppliers, and site teams. Build and maintain strong working relationships.

Programme Management:

Assist in the development and monitoring of construction programmes and ensure adherence to project timelines.

Risk Management:

Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks. Propose and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Commercial Control:

Manage budgets and cost plans.

Reporting:

Provide regular updates to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and commercial outcomes.

Health & Safety:

Ensure all operations comply with relevant health and safety legislation and best practices.

Requirements:



Proven experience (3+ years) in contract or project management within the construction sector. Knowledge of SFS, render, cladding systems, roofing, and other facade components. Familiarity with construction contracts and legal implications (e.g., JCT, NEC). Excellent leadership, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities across multiple sites. Proficient in MS Office Suite. Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent) and willingness to travel.

Desirable Attributes:



Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. Strong understanding of building regulations and facade performance standards (e.g., fire safety, thermal, acoustic).
