About the Role:

DC Solutions Services is seeking an experienced

Contracts Manager

to join one of our clients, a well-established company specialising in structural steelwork and architectural metalwork. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing contracts from award through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage multiple contracts across various projects from inception to completion. Liaise with clients, main contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure contractual obligations are met. Oversee cost control, scheduling, and risk management to maintain profitability and efficiency. Review, negotiate, and administer contract terms, variations, and final accounts. Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, quality management systems, and relevant industry accreditations. Prepare and present progress and financial reports to senior management. Support business development activities by providing commercial and contractual insights.

Requirements:

Proven experience (5+ years) as a Contracts Manager or similar role within the structural steelwork, fabrication, or construction industry. Strong understanding of contract administration, cost control, and project management principles. Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. Proficient with MS Office and contract management tools. A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving abilities. Relevant industry qualifications and a valid CSCS card are advantageous.
