The position of 'Contracts Manager' is to facilitate smooth running of the Landscaping areas of the business. You will be working within a team, holding a manager's position to play a key role in the company's operations.

- Proven experience within the landscape industry working at the role advertised
- An absolute 'can do' attitude and team player
- Strong abilities in IT, health and safety, and commercial awareness
Role Requirements
- Reporting to Senior Contracts Manager / Operations Lead
- Contracts Manager for the grounds maintenance services
- Contracts Manager for the related tree works, improvements, installations, and other works associated with running the grounds maintenance services
- Overseeing and managing smooth execution of predominately soft landscape installations
- Maintaining excellent working relationships with all inhouse staff and any sub-contractors
- Health and safety management and RAMS
- Planning, scheduling, and staffing to facilitate works
- Ensuing high quality work is carried out
- Estimating works
- Client meetings, liaising, correspondence and maintaining good relationships
- Overseeing machinery, tools, vehicle requirements, and maintenance
- Following company procedures and systems for all operations
- Supporting tender opportunities and new business
- Working within team to continually improve systems
- Operating training programme for landscape department
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with IT systems relevant to project management is essential.
- Good knowledge of Sage Cloud 50 for raising purchase orders and large landscaping projects
The role of Contracts Manager cannot be fully defined and will be subject to changes as the business evolves and grows, the above is the core framework. The Contracts Manager is a key person to support smooth operations.
Working Hours & Holiday Entitlement
Hours are Monday - Friday; 7am to 4pm (Flexibility available by agreement)
Holiday entitlement is 28 Days inclusive of Bank Holidays
