Make every contract count and help us deliver smarter, better IT services.
As an IT Contracts Officer, you'll play a vital role in keeping our Housing IT services running smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail, contract knowledge and financial awareness will help us get the best value from our suppliers - and deliver better outcomes for our communities.
Working Style:
You'll be based in the Borough for 3 days a week, playing a key role in serving the local community. You'll be part of a dedicated team making a real difference to residents' lives.
What you'll be doing:
As an IT Contracts Officer, you'll be the go-to person for everything related to Housing IT contracts - making sure our services run smoothly and offer great value for money. Working across procurement, finance and legal, you'll manage all contracts and agreements and help us keep control of our IT spend.
This is a practical, hands-on role where you'll raise purchase requisitions, manage invoices and credit notes, and keep accurate records. You'll review existing contracts and renegotiate where needed, ensuring we always get the best deal and the best service. You'll also work closely with Procurement to help shape our purchasing strategy and support the wider Housing IT improvement plans.
You'll prepare high-level reports for senior managers and make sure the authorisation process is clear and properly followed. From managing frameworks to supporting contract renewals, you'll play a key role in keeping our IT services efficient, high-quality and ready for the future.
