To continue the expansion of our out-of-hour services, we are seeking an experienced and proven manager of control room and/or patrol services that can help lead our team of officers in the delivery, organisation, support and development of our CCTV Monitoring and Key Holding and Alarm Response services.
Working between the operational services of the business and the out-of-hour delivery team a typical week would see the successful candidate splitting their working day between 1pm and 9pm Monday to Friday. The afternoons spent alongside the admin and Operations team planning, preparing, updating and auditing the services ahead of spending the early evening with in Control / Patrol with the officers to impart that help, training, organisation and leadership to help us continue to deliver world-class service.
The right person will have a proven tenure of delivering results in a similar environment elsewhere, be SIA Licenced, trained and qualified as well as having PC skills, a personable but professional manner and be a pro-active, solution seeker able to identify potential issues, gaps or improvement and be competent in delivering action plans accordingly.
Although working alongside our Sales and Engineering Managers and closely with the Operations Director, this is a role that would suit an individual who is able to drive their department forwards and upwards through their own independent thinking, focus and drive. Taking responsibility for the Control and Patrol team means ownership and the opportunity to help the team develop in your own vision - many of our officers. We are happy for you to take the lead.
Hours
Monday to Friday
13:00hrs to 16:30hrs Office Based
16:30hrs to 21:00hrs Control/Patrol Based
Flexibility in hours is advised as you may prefer to spend more time with the Officers on Duty at times or in the office in support of set up for shifts. Based from our Northampton Offices at Moulton Park Industrial Estate.
Main Duties:
Organizing the Patrol and Control Roster, maintaining a 6 Week Advance Issue
Managing Holiday entitlements, requests and bookings
Arranging and managing shift cover in the event of absence
Ensuring Service Delivery standards are maintained at a World Class Level
Auditing and Organisation of Keys and Accurate records
Development and Training Officers
Ownership of the department, including Delivery of the Control room and Patrol Services
Auditing and Management of Officers Fleet
On Call Out of Hours in the event of incidents or support
On Site Shadowing/Auditing/Training
Pay and Benefits
Salaried between 30,000 and 35,000 per annum dependent on experience

Minimum Requirements
At least 2 years proven experience in delivering management and training to a small team
At least 2 years Patrol and or Control Room service delivery
Full UK Manual Driving Licence
Traceable work History for the last 5 Years
A current and valid SIA Licence Holder
PC Skills to include the Microsoft Suite
