We are looking for a professional Security Operations Centre Specialist located in our Head Office in Belfast city centre, someone who will be responsible for providing excellent security services that ensure the safety and protection for our Company and its Clients.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact to provide incident response management while ensuring that the Security Operations Centre service is professional and effective. This will involve undertaking tasks such as monitoring and responding to live security feeds, safety, building and fire responses, and coordinating with our Operations Teams concerning incidents.

Key Responsibilities will be:

Responding to incidents and maintaining a secure & safe environment for staff & Clients Taking appropriate action to prevent, minimize or resolve these issues through priority tasking Coordinating and supporting all security response processes, including evacuation procedures Proactively monitoring & coordinating security related communications Report in detail any security breaches & unusual incidents to the Head of Operations while maintaining the security logs to the required high standards

Essential Requirements:

Valid SIA License Must have own transport to and from work location Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment, if required Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols Ability to give clear instructions and provide general support and leadership through communication. Proactively monitoring & controlling radio channels, applications and coordinating security related communications Able to plan and prioritise work dynamically while using problem-solving skills Efficient in the use of Microsoft office products
Control Room experience desirable but not essential.

Job Types

: Full-time, Permanent 12-hour shifts (4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off) and be flexible to cover leave for other co-workers.

Salary:

12.50 per hour
