The Control Room Team Leader is responsible working with the Control Room Manager to manage the performance and compliance of control room operations across the estate on a 24/7/ 365 basis. This role is the lead within the Control Room out of hours and will also step up to cover the Control Room Manager position as required. This includes overseeing multi data sources, following escalation processes and making focused decisions in a live environment. Working in partnership with KX Security Team and multiple stakeholders to ensure a consistent delivery of frontline security operation to ensure public safety and effective incident management. Managing centralised communication, processes and systems, always maintaining data integrity. Ensure every interaction with the control room is effective, phone calls, emails, application messages, to support a positive Customer Experience


About the Role:





As the Control RoomTeam Leader you will be responsible for:


Lead direct reports, responsible for their safety, welfare, performance and development Ensure KX Control Room phone, mailbox and reporting tools are managed effectively to provide assurance across the estate. Escalate incidents and major risks in line with the current framework, reporting facts timely and accurately to the relevant leadership to manage incidents effectively. Oversee functionality of all core systems (CCTV, access, life safety), escalating issues for resolution. Support the wider team prioritising resources, resolving gaps and responding to customer requests Maintain the integrity of all documentation, logs, data, evidence management in line with GDPR

What we are looking for:




Essential



Minimum 2-3 years in a Control Room environment. Strong understanding of estate-scale control room operations and security systems. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and ensure procedural compliance Excellent communication and documentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in live and post-incident contexts. SIA - CCTV
