We are looking to hire a controls engineer for our flagship site in Cornwall where we produce the vast majority of our cheeses - including Cathedral City and Davidstow cheddars. This is a key role to aid in the continued development of the fully automated site.
Utilising strong problem solving, you will be identifying and driving optimisation and refinement opportunities to ensure asset performance and automated systems and control technologies across the site and drive continuous improvement.
The role will be involved with end-of-life activities, including changing out ControlNet to Via Link, being involved in a largescale network replacement project to implement controls throughout the factory, and implementation of CCTV into all lines across the site.
As someone who will be managing change, you will be partnering with various teams to introduce new systems and ways of working, including being involved in multiple large-scale CAPEX projects.
Working with other power, controls and automation engineers, you will be supporting a range of equipment involved in the entire process of making cheese and powdered whey products.
This is a Monday to Friday role, with a callout rota for the team to offer out-of-hour support.
