We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Conveyancer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the legal aspects of property transactions, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with current regulations. You will play a crucial role in facilitating smooth property transfers, providing exceptional service to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
Duties
Prepare and review legal documents related to property transactions, including contracts and transfer deeds.
Conduct thorough searches and investigations to ensure properties are free from legal issues.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction to gather necessary information.
Provide clear communication to clients regarding the progress of their transactions and address any queries they may have.
Manage multiple cases simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Maintain organised records of all transactions and correspondence in compliance with legal requirements.
Stay updated on changes in property law and conveyancing practices to ensure best practices are followed.
Experience
Proven experience in conveyancing or a similar legal role is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
Proficiency in IT systems relevant to conveyancing processes, including case management software.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
