We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support our conveyancing department by assisting with various administrative tasks related to property transactions. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in property law and strong organisational skills.
Responsibilities
Assist conveyancers with the preparation and processing of legal documentation for property transactions.
Conduct property searches and gather relevant information from various sources.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction to ensure smooth communication.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and update case management systems accordingly.
Prepare correspondence and reports as required, ensuring all documentation is compliant with legal standards.
Assist in managing deadlines and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Provide general administrative support to the conveyancing team as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a legal or conveyancing environment is advantageous but not essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional telephone manner.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with case management software is desirable.
A proactive attitude towards learning and development within the role.
