About the role
We're seeking a Conveyancing Assistant for our Private Client team based in our London office to join our ambitious Residential Property team who are ranked in Chambers and Legal 500. They are client-focused with a wealth of experience advising on a wide range of transactions, from conveyancing for first-time buyers to advising high net worth individuals on property portfolios.
Day to day, you will have a varied caseload, including:

  • Assisting with file opening and client onboarding processes
  • Preparing Contract packs and financial statements
  • Carrying out searches
  • Dealing with SDLT forms and payments
  • Completing applications to the Land Registry
  • Fulfilling billing requirements
  • Working with Thrings' credit control team in relation to client payments
Whilst this role is based in London there will be the opportunity for you to work with other fee earners based at our other offices.
About you
We're extremely proud of the relationship we've built with our clients and referrers, being recognised as their trusted legal partner. It's important to us that you have the right blend of skills to service their needs and develop new relationships:
  • Law degree or equivalent legal experience
  • Prior experience as a paralegal or legal assistant
  • Prior experience in a conveyancing support role is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent organisational, communication, research, and IT skills
  • Strong attention to detail
