Description:
To provide efficient support to the Luton conveyancing team.
Managing quotes
Opening files and completing all compliance checks
Managing files throughout the transaction in accordance with CQS procedures
Ensuring all client details are kept up to date
Obtaining title deeds, Land Registry title and plans
Preparing Contract documentation
Obtaining searches and replies to property questionnaires
Using Case Management Systems, Land Registry Portal, SDLT, Outlook, Excel and other computer packages, as appropriate
Diary management
Database Management
Checking post and dealing with matters arising, when required
Liaising with clients, estate agents and solicitors face to face or by telephone
Scanning, filing, copying and faxing
Dealing with post completion of files, where appropriate
Closing/storage and retrieval of files
The appropriate candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
Understand legal processes and it would be beneficial to have an awareness of conveyancing procedures.
Demonstrates persistence and commitment to completing tasks and objectives
Delivers high volume of work to a high standard
Have an excellent telephone manner
Excellent organisational skills, able to multitask prioritise work
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Able to use initiative and be proactive in taking on tasks to progress a matter

The annual salary range for this role is 24,000-25,000 pro-rata
