We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Conveyancing Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our conveyancing department by assisting with the smooth processing of property transactions. This position is ideal for individuals who already have a good knowlege of the conveyancing process.
Responsibilities
Assist solicitors and conveyancers with the preparation and submission of legal documents related to property transactions.
Manage client communications, ensuring timely updates and responses to queries.
Conduct property searches and gather necessary information from various sources.
Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other third parties to facilitate the conveyancing process.
Support the team in meeting deadlines and managing multiple cases simultaneously.
Attend to administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
Skills
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Proficiency in using office software and case management systems particularly LEAP
A basic understanding of property law or previous experience in a legal environment is advantageous.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
