Conveyancing Legal Assistant

Job Description

  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders, and local authorities
  • Coordinate post-exchange work and prepare completion statements
  • Manage completions, including mortgage funds and transfers
  • Handle post-completion tasks such as registrations and SDLT returns
  • Maintain accurate records and update case management systems
  • Assist with billing and invoicing related to conveyancing files
  • Support the team in resolving issues or delays during transactions
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • At least 1 year full time work experience within a conveyancing team.
  • Full knowledge of the full Conveyancing process from start to finish.
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Comfortable in fast paced environment
  • Familiar with Legal software (additional training will be provided)
