Job Overview:



We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and organised individual to join our team as a Conveyancing Onboarding Assistant. As an Onboarding Assistant, you will provide support to our conveyancing team by assisting with various administrative tasks related to property transactions.

Duties will include:



Act as the first point of contact for new conveyancing clients, providing a professional and friendly welcome. Collect and verify client information, including ID checks and anti-money laundering documentation. Prepare and send client care packs and engagement letters. Input client details into case management systems accurately and efficiently. Liaise with solicitors and conveyancers to ensure smooth handover of files. Monitor onboarding progress and follow up with clients where necessary. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies. Deal with telephone enquiries either to conclusion or by referral to the fee earner. Action incoming post placing copies on the file and storing documents securely where necessary. Provide administrative support to the conveyancing team as required.

Skills & Experience Required



Previous experience in a legal or property environment (conveyancing experience desirable but not essential). Strong administrative and organisational skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Professional telephone manner and strong written communication skills. Understanding of AML and compliance procedures (training can be provided).
