What the role involves

We are looking for an experienced paralegal to join our Residential Property team in Hove. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly team environment whilst simultaneously developing a legal career in property law.

The successful candidate will assist our solicitors and conveyancers across all stages of conveyancing transactions including opening files, initial compliance, preparing documents, managing files, liaising with clients, conducting searches, and coordinating with agents, lenders, and other third parties, as well as dealing with property registrations at Land Registry. Our Hove office serves clients locally and nationally, delivering specialist legal services.

As well as sales, purchases and mortgages, our team also specialises in bridging loans, auctions and equity release. Prior experience in these areas is not essential, but a can-do attitude and willingness to occasionally work at pace is.

With the appropriate supervision and guidance, you'll be encouraged to take on greater responsibility as you grow. We invest in our people and regularly award training contracts.

The role is full time, in-person, and based at the Hove Office.

What we're looking for

A motivated candidate with a keen eye for detail and good communication skills Prior experience in residential conveyancing is essential Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and legal case management systems Ability to manage competing priorities in an often fast-paced environment A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn A willingness to join in with the team environment.
