At Thorntons Law, every moment matters. Join us as a Paralegal and you'll feel inspired. You'll feel connected. You'll feel like you belong. And it all begins from the moment you join us.

About the role

Are you detail-focused, organised, and interested in property law? This is a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly and supportive Residential Property team, working at the heart of the conveyancing process. In this role, you'll focus on the final stage of residential transactions - ensuring that once a property purchase or sale has completed, everything is registered properly and finalised with accuracy and care. You'll play an important part in giving clients peace of mind that their transaction has been fully and smoothly completed. It's about:

Preparing legal documents - ensuring all registration documents are accurate, compliant, and ready for submission. Managing forms - drafting and submitting Land Registration forms, LBTT Returns, arranging payments, and making ADS reclaims. Checking and reporting - reviewing Title Sheets after registration and updating lenders and clients once completion has been confirmed. Problem-solving - spotting and resolving any inaccuracies in registrations. Supporting enquiries - dealing with general questions around title deeds clearly and efficiently. Teamwork - working closely with your colleagues to ensure a seamless and thorough service. Keeping records - maintaining accurate, organised records for every transaction.
