We are currently seeking a
Conveyancing Solicitor
with
a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience
to join our Property Department. The ideal candidate will predominantly handle
residential conveyancing
matters, with some exposure to
commercial property
work.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a full caseload of
residential conveyancing matters
, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, new builds, and shared ownership.
Handle
commercial property
transactions including leases, assignments, renewals, and small-scale purchases/sales.
Draft and review contracts, leases, title reports, and other relevant documents.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth progression of matters.
Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients throughout the transaction.
Ensure compliance with the firm's quality standards, regulatory requirements, and deadlines.
Maintain accurate records and timekeeping using the firm's case management system (e.g., LEAP).
Supervise junior staff or conveyancing assistants, if required.
Requirements
Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of
3 years' PQE
in
residential conveyancing
.
Experience in handling
commercial conveyancing
is desirable.
Proven ability to manage a busy and varied caseload independently.
Strong communication and client care skills.
High attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
Sound understanding of SRA regulations and CQS requirements.
Proficient in using case management systems and Microsoft Office.

Pay: 22,880.00-66,043.05 per year
