Conveyancing Solicitor

Role Overview

As a Conveyancing Solicitor, you will manage a

varied caseload

of

residential and commercial property transactions

, working closely with a team of experienced lawyers and support staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking career development in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of

residential and commercial conveyancing

matters from instruction to post-completion. Handle

freehold and leasehold sales and purchases

, new builds, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and lease extensions. Deal with

commercial leases

, including grant, renewal, and assignment of leases, and acquisitions/disposals of commercial property. Draft and review contracts, leases, reports on title, and associated legal documents. Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors. Supervise and support junior staff and paralegals where needed. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies. Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with

at least 3 years PQE

in conveyancing. Solid experience in both

residential and commercial property

. Strong knowledge of the Land Registry, SDLT, and AML compliance. Ability to manage your own caseload independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and client care skills. Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities. Proficiency with case management systems (LEAP experience is an advantage). Positive attitude, team player, and a proactive approach.
