We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and providing exceptional service to clients. Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of property transactions from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
Prepare and review legal documentation such as contracts, transfer deeds, and lease agreements.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other relevant parties to facilitate efficient transaction progress.
Conduct property searches and investigations to verify title and identify potential issues.
Negotiate terms of sale or purchase on behalf of clients to achieve favourable outcomes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements throughout the conveyancing process.
Keep accurate records of case progress and update clients regularly on transaction status.
Assist in resolving any legal or procedural issues that may arise during transactions.
Skills
Proven experience in conveyancing or property law is highly desirable.
Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms for clients while maintaining professional relationships.
Excellent organisational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to a diverse client base.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in legal software and case management systems is advantageous.
