Summary

We are seeking an Assistant to join our team at Friday Street Farm Restaurant and drive thru cafe in the heart of the countryside. This role is essential in supporting our catering manager and ensuring that our customers receive high-quality meals and service.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking to ensure timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen areas. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to prepare meals according to recipes. Support serving staff during busy periods to enhance customer experience. Assist with inventory management and stock rotation. Participate in menu planning and development as needed. Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking. Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. Previous restaurant experience. Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask. Passion for quality food and customer service. Rate of pay to be discussed.
