We are currently recruiting for a Care Home Cook to join us at our Residential Care Home. With a varied working pattern including mornings, afternoons and alternate weekends. *This role is only open to applicants with existing legal authorization to work in your country and does not offer visa sponsorship.

POSITION

:

Being a Cook for the Care home your duties will include:

To prepare and cook a balanced, nutritious diet. To actively contribute in the preparation and cooking of food. To work within a controlled hygienic environment. To stock check regularly and make notes if orders are needed. To cater to residents dietary needs and preferences. To maintain kitchen equipment as specified by respective manufactures. To ensure all kitchen appliances are left in a clean hygienic state. To ensure all surfaces are cleaned with appropriate disinfectant. To perform other such duties as may required.

ABOUT YOU:

Have a genuine interest in cooking and catering for others Be Professional, Caring, Friendly, Reliable, Trustworthy and willing to learn Be willing to undergo DBS check or have a valid electronic portable DBS Be available to work alternate weekends Have good time management and organisation skills
