Aramark UK is currently recruiting a Cook / Experienced Catering Assistant to join our dedicated team in the Healthcare sector. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a unique and meaningful environment.

About the Role

You'll play a key part in preparing and serving both hot and cold meals, including deli-style grab & go items. You'll also serve on the hot food counter during breakfast and lunch, ensuring excellent customer service and strict adherence to Health & Safety standards.



This role is based within a Christian charity that supports individuals facing addiction, mental health challenges, homelessness, and involvement with the criminal justice system. As such, we're looking for someone who is:

Empathetic and resilient Socially aware and non-judgmental Comfortable working in a dynamic and sometimes unpredictable environment

A Day in the Life

Prepare and serve hot and cold meals in a canteen-style setting within a homeless hostel Serve breakfast and lunch, monitor food levels, and ensure food safety standards are met Assist with stock control, ordering, and deep cleaning routines Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all Health & Safety protocols

What We're Looking For

A relevant cookery or culinary qualification is desirable, but not essential At least 2 years of catering experience Food Hygiene Level 2 is preferred - but can be completed via our online training
