We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with experience in food preparation and kitchen management. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious meals, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Your creativity and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance as needed. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during meal periods. Help create a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and communication among kitchen staff.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Creativity in meal preparation and presentation, with an eye for detail. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
