We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Cook. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in food preparation and cooking, who thrives in a dynamic kitchen environment. The Culinary Specialist will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests when serving meals.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in a kitchen environment.
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and meal preparation methods.
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
A passion for cooking and a desire to continually improve culinary skills are highly valued.
Hours are 25 to 30 hours per week and happy to discuss start and finish times.
For example:
Start times could be 8am to 9am
Finish time would be 1pm to 230pm

Pay: 13.00 per hour
