We're looking for a caring and dependable Cook to join our close-knit team at Ocean Living Care Home in Mumbles. In this rewarding part-time role, you'll prepare delicious, home-style meals that bring warmth, comfort, and joy to our residents every day.

About Ocean Living

Ocean Living is a small, 14-bed residential care home perched on the seafront, with breathtaking views over Mumbles Bay. We provide high-quality, person-centred care for older adults, including those living with dementia. Our homely environment and strong sense of community make every role here feel meaningful and valued.

Your Role

As our Cook, you'll take pride in creating wholesome, nutritious meals that make mealtimes one of the highlights of each day.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and serving freshly cooked meals and desserts Catering for a variety of dietary needs, including allergies and texture-modified diets Planning and adapting menus to residents' preferences and seasonal produce Maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety Managing stock efficiently and keeping clear records Engaging with residents to make mealtimes enjoyable and personal

What We're Looking For

? A genuine passion for cooking and caring for others
? Experience in a similar environment (care home, school, or small kitchen preferred)
? Understanding of dietary needs and allergen management
?

Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)

?

Level 3 Food Hygiene and HACCP knowledge (desirable)

? Reliable, friendly, and confident working independently
