Synergy Care & Education are recruiting an experienced
Nursery Cook
to support a warm and welcoming nursery setting in Newport. We are looking for someone reliable, organised, and passionate about preparing healthy, nutritious meals for young children.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing balanced, age-appropriate meals and snacks for children
Following dietary requirements, allergies, and food safety guidelines
Planning menus in line with nutritional standards
Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and well-organised kitchen environment
Ordering and managing stock where required
Working as part of a friendly nursery team
Requirements
Previous experience as a cook
(nursery, school, or similar setting preferred)
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
Food Hygiene Level 2 (desirable)
