Job Description
We are looking to recruit a Cook to join our small but friendly team. Duties will include cooking for up to 28 residents, ensuring all practice meets Health & Safety requirements, planning menus and ordering food and other resources.
We are looking for someone who has experience and passion for cooking, is flexible and works well as part of a team.
Main Areas of Responsibility
Kitchen Duties
To prepare breakfast, lunch and tea meals, including any special diets Prepare home-baked goods for tea and celebrations. To respect resident involvement in meal planning To leave a tidy kitchen at the end of each day.
Teamwork, Communication, Health and Safety
Daily communication with residents and Care team leaders about diet and menu
requirements
Supervise the kitchen assistant, ensuring information is communicated and delegate tasks for the day/week ahead. To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and food hygiene. To maintain all required paperwork
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
