Summary

We are seeking a talented Cook to join our team at The Old Deanery. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals that cater to the dietary needs of our residents, ensuring both quality and safety in food preparation. Your culinary skills will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience for our community.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen. Plan menus that cater to the nutritional needs of residents. Assist with meal presentation and serving to create an enjoyable dining experience. Collaborate with care staff to accommodate special dietary requests or restrictions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to prepare meals that meet dietary restrictions and preferences. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Culinary qualifications or training is preferred but not essential.
