Cook Required For Small Friendly Tea Rooms
Job Description
We require a cook to join our team in our small friendly tea room in the heart of Southwold. We are open all year round apart from Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Day serving traditional British foods including homemade cakes and scones. We are currently recruiting for three to four set days per week to include one weekend day 9am to 4/4.30pm depending on the season, however more hours may be available to cover holidays and sickness. No evenings or early mornings. Immediate start.
Duties to include but not limited to:
Food preparation and cooking.
Baking.
Ensuring hygiene standards are adhered to.
Key holder.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a kitchen environment Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and food safety Prior experience, demonstrating effective serving techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality Excellent communication and teamwork skills, essential for a friendly tea room atmosphere
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
