We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen operations and meal preparation, with a focus on delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every meal meets our standards for taste and presentation while adhering to food safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Assist in the planning and preparation of daily specials and seasonal menus.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, ensuring all food preparation areas are hygienic.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure adequate supplies are available.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Follow all food safety guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
