Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist in food production according to established recipes and standards Cook and assemble dishes with precision, ensuring consistency and quality Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations Support the team in food presentation, garnishing, and plating to meet aesthetic standards Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including proper handling of kitchen equipment and ingredients Assist with baking and other specialised food preparation tasks as required Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Experience

Previous experience in food production or preparation within a professional kitchen environment is preferred Knowledge of cooking techniques, baking, and general culinary practices is highly desirable Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential Experience working in a restaurant or catering setting will be advantageous Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality
