Cook required to join our very well established team, the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring all food is to the highest standards, you will share the responsibility for providing a highly nutritional and well balanced menu and implementing menu changes as agreed, you will be responsible for maintaining hygiene standards of the premises as well as ensuring all documentation is complete and up to date, you will be responsible for food spends and budget management as well as stock maintenance and rotation. Food hygiene certification necessary, awareness of the Eat Well Guide preferred but not essential, great communication skills essential (written and verbal). The successful applicant must be reliable and flexible, willing and able to work on weekends (as per rota), it is essential that you are willing and able to cover absence/sick leave and annual leave. The responsibilities herein are not exhaustive, tasks may vary as necessitated by the organisation and overall objectives of the service.
