We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with our menu standards, ensuring that all food safety protocols are followed. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks as needed.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.
Skills
Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the culinary field.
