Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards Assist in the preparation of a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency and quality Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations Follow all health and safety guidelines during food handling and preparation Support the team during busy service periods, including serving customers when required Ensure all food is stored correctly and waste is minimised through proper handling procedures Contribute to menu development by providing input based on culinary expertise

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team A genuine passion for culinary arts and customer service Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and evenings if required Relevant qualifications or certifications in food safety are advantageous but not essential
