We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Hand to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food preparation and customer service, ensuring that every sandwich is crafted to perfection. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the preparation process. Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, including cleaning and organising workstations. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food, and engaging with customers. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to management.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Experience in serving customers with a friendly and approachable manner.
